Job Summary: Desk Clerk is primarily responsible for operating a multi-line switchboard and making sure that all visitors, guests, residents, and volunteers are treated with Christ-like hospitality and respect.
Duties:
Responsible for answering all incoming calls and transferring to the appropriate department or party.
Provide correct information to all callers.
Warmly greet all visitors, guests and volunteers as they enter the Mission.
Schedule weekly reservation for tours.
Give guided tours of the Mission to our guests, visitors, and volunteers.
Open and log the content of incoming packages from the mailroom and donators onto the US Mail Donation Report.
Assist guests with donations.
Sign and distribute donation receipts to mailing service.
Prepare envelopes for mailing.
Perform other general office duties as required.
Know fire safety procedures.
Be familiar with building safety procedures, as well as fire evacuation and hazardous weather...
