🌎 Missions Trip Leader/Missions Trip Intern
Organization: LeaderTreks
Location: Based in West Chicago, IL — Travel across the U.S. + potential international trips to Costa Rica
Dates: Late May–Early August (11 weeks)
Compensation: Earn up to $6,000 + travel and housing included

As one of our missions staff, you’ll spend your summer leading youth mission trips, guiding middle and high school students as they serve communities, discover leadership, and grow in their faith. Along the way, you’ll receive intentional mentoring, leadership development, and hands-on ministry experience that will shape you for years to come.

🧰 What You’ll Do
- Participate in immersive discipleship training over Memorial Day Weekend
- Lead and disciple students on mission trips and service projects

- Support your staff team in handling logistics, planning, and project oversight
- Engage in daily reflection, self-evaluation, and goal setting
- Celebrate with the full team at our end-of-summer retreat

About LeaderTreks Youth Ministry
First and foremost, we love Jesus and his church. Our mission at LeaderTreks Youth Ministry is to develop leaders to fulfill the Great Commission. We do this by supporting youth workers and providing experiences that grow students as disciples and develop them as leaders. So we create challenging mission and adventure trips that bring spiritual development together with transformational experiences.
LeaderTreks Youth Ministry uses trips, innovative training, and curriculum to create laboratories where students can learn, face challenges, and be transformed. Laboratories allow students to experience truth as well as hear truth, so they can grow into their potential. This is why our curriculum provides experiential learning activities in every lesson we create. This is also why we use challenge on all our trips to help students catch a glimpse of their personal potential and start down the road of using that potential. Our goal is not to just make students happy—we want to see them grow as followers of Christ.
