This position is trained in lifeguarding, and our zipline, climbing wall and go carts, along with all the training that goes with being a cabin leader, including QBS Safety Care and TBRI training.
The program staff are an essential part of the team and life of camp keeping the activities going and in great shape and assisting with and investing in the campers as a support to the cabin leaders.
The program staff eats meals with the campers, helps facilitate activities and games, covers times for the cabin leaders to have conversations with our lead team or go to the bathroom or a break.
The program staff provides fun and safety and invests in our campers from hard places.
About Camp Beechpoint
Camp Beechpoint is a Christian with the mission of bringing the Gospel of Christ to under resourced youth with an excellent camping experience. We serve youth an families with barriers to attending camp like foster care, financial, incarcerated parent, etc. Our campers often come with some hard situations. Our staff provide ministry to the campers and families through summer camp, fall and winter retreats, partnership with community ministries.
