Location Pastor for Gospelife Church. The Location Pastor is a role responsible for the growth of a Gospelife location in Carol Stream, Illinois. The Location Pastor reports to the Lead Pastor.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Provide Bible-based weekly preaching and teaching that faithfully communicates Scripture and fosters spiritual growth within the congregation.
• Collaborate with a team of pastors on message series preparation.
• Lead the location site under the supervision of the Lead Pastor and in cooperation with the Shared Service Team.
• Recruit, train, and lead a core ministry team that includes children’s ministry, hospitality, and assimilation (Ephesians 4:11-16).
• Provide congregational care, including pastoral care, discipleship, counseling, and prayer.
• Lead local community outreach initiatives that advance the Gospel (1 Peter 5:1-8).

• Shows clear spiritual maturity and a vibrant, prayerful walk with Christ, along with a heart for missions and evangelism.
• Maintains a lifestyle consistent with the biblical standards and doctrinal commitments of Gospelife Church, including the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:2–7.
• Possesses strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to listen attentively, communicate effectively, and lead with empathy and wisdom.
• Works collaboratively within shared leadership structures and demonstrates creativity in fostering spiritual growth and discipleship.
• Leads ministry efforts in alignment with the vision and mission of Gospelife Church, faithfully advancing the direction provided by the Lead Pastor and Elders.
• 5+ years of pastoral leadership preferred with a demonstrated track record of leading and developing teams within a church or ministry setting.

Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated salary range for this full-time pastoral position is $70,000–$80,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and qualifications. This position is eligible for benefits, which may include health insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off, ministry-related expense reimbursement, and continuing education support, in accordance with church policy.
