Made to Flourish, a national network supporting pastors and churches in whole-life discipleship, partners with local congregations to offer two- to three-year pastoral posts designed to equip and form emerging leaders.

Much like a medical school graduate serves as a resident in a teaching hospital, a seminary graduate serves as a pastoral resident in a local church. During this time, residents actively lead while receiving intentional mentorship from experienced pastors and warm support from the congregation they serve.

Through our common application, you can apply once and be considered for multiple pastoral roles across a national network of churches committed to forming future senior leaders.

Note: These positions are located within the U.S. Because of the short-term nature of these roles, participating churches are generally unable to offer visa sponsorship.

Position Description

These roles will vary from church to church, but here’s what you can expect to do at all of them:

• Preach, teach, and shepherd

• Be mentored by seasoned pastors

• Lead initiatives and ministries

• Learn how a healthy church operates from the inside out

• Steward pastoral responsibility without the full weight of senior leadership
