Job Description
Position Title: Worship /Associate Pastor                                                                                                        
Reports to: Lead Pastor                                                                                                                           
Status: Full Time

Boulder Mountain is experiencing a revitalization over the last two years. It is an exciting time in NorthEast Mesa as we help people find and follow Jesus. We are  in the middle of a 2 year vision initiative that will lead us to a new location! The Worship Pastor is responsible for helping to foster a healthy and thriving worship culture at Boulder Mountain Church. This role will be Full Time and support the mission of Boulder Mountain Church, and the Lead Pastor, and help carry out the vision of Boulder Mountain Church.  

Boulder Mountain is now a 300 member church, and we currently have three weekend services over two days. 

Responsibilities: 

Help design a Christ focused worship experience each week.  
Oversee vocal and musician team schedule and volunteers.
Assist the Lead Pastor in Shepherding and Caring
Oversee adult ministries and programs. 
Provide direction for Life Groups
Participate in worship planning for weekend services 
Lead and oversee worship for weekend services 
Work with our Tech Director to make sure services are organized and the team has what they need.  
Work with the Lead Pastor on themes, special elements and flow of the service. 

Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written, organizational and communication skills 
Experience in Planning Center Online, Ableton, Logic, ProPresenter, Dante, Adobe Premier Pro preferred.  
Ability to forecast and manage a budget 
Ability to work independently within scope of assignment 
Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team 
Well-rounded music knowledge/understanding 
Experience desired.
