Location: Andersonville – 1.5 blocks from the red line

Schedule: Part-time (6–18 hours per week)

• Weekends: Saturday and/or Sunday (1:00 PM – 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM)
• Weekdays: 2 afternoons per week (flexible timing)
• Note: Schedule varies slightly based on appointments. We will coordinate and finalize the schedule 2 weeks in advance.
• If you can commit to 6 hours every week, then we may need an additional person, but that would be fine

About the Role

·         We are looking for a trustworthy, organized, and dependable individual to provide hands-on assistance to two active seniors as they declutter, sort, and pack their home in preparation for an upcoming move. This is a collaborative, one-on-one role — you'll work directly alongside the homeowner at every step, so a warm, patient, and encouraging demeanor is just as important as the physical work.

Key Responsibilities

• Sorting & Decluttering: Assist in going through closets, storage, and living areas to categorize items to sell, donate, keep, or discard.
• Packing: Carefully and efficiently pack items into boxes, crates, or bags, ensuring fragile or valuable belongings are handled with care.
• Light Lifting & Moving: Move packed items to designated areas, including the basement, the car, or the trash/recycling bins.
