Part-Time Mother's Helper

We are a small, warm family of three - solo mom, 7 year old and 10 year old dog - seeking a kind, dependable mother's helper beginning in late August to support us as we walk a longstanding cancer diagnosis. Mom needs rest and some help with chores. Kid needs a friend and homework help. Dog needs a walk.

Hours are flexible but largely 3 afternoons/week, one weekend day and an occasional early morning.

Responsibilities include childcare, dog walk, light housework, chauffeuring kid, ability to pull together a meal when ingredients are set out, and keeping play spaces tidy. This is primarily a supportive role alongside mom and does not include deep cleaning or heavy household duties. It does require that you are respectful of the Christian faith & holiday calendar.

We would love to find someone who has excellent references and who enjoys being part of a collaborative family environment. Fluent English is required because of my limited fluency in other languages.

Compensation is $20-$25/hour based on experience.
