General information:

The Gallatin Church of Christ is located in downtown Gallatin, TN with a population of over 50,000 people and a County population of around 200,000. We are located 27 miles from downtown Nashville. We are a literal prophetic believing congregation and that  salvation comes by grace. Our  attendance averages 50 and above. We have an abundance of space including an auditorium with capacity up to 300, a chapel with capacity over 100, numerous classrooms, a large kitchen and dining hall, and a gymnasium. The Church has sponsored an on-site public Daycare for over 50 years with over 75 children housed in their own building. The Lord has blessed us spiritually along with ample real estate and financial resources to grow if it be His will.

Applicant qualifications and responsibilities:

·       Male applicant preferably married

·       Experience preferred but not required

·       Biblically divorced if applicable

·       Grounded in the inerrant Word of God

·       Willing and able to preach, teach, visit, counsel, baptize, perform one-man one-woman marriages, conduct funerals, be involved and participate in the community, and not be ashamed of the Gospel

·       Reports to Elders of the Church

·       Other duties as requested

Who we are:

The Gallatin Church of Christ is a congregation of believers in Christ, saved by the grace of God. We are committed to the proclamation and practice of the “ New Testament Christianity” and in this endeavor we invite the interest, support, and fellowship of all like-minded children of God.

We have no guide but the inspired Scriptures in matters of faith and declare ourselves ready to embrace and to preach “ the whole counsel of God”. In matters of opinion, we urge the application of the principle of individual Christian liberty. Rejoicing in “ the unity of the Spirit”, we seek to attain “unity of the faith” among the children of God.

We steadfastly refuse to make a “test of fellowship” of anything the Holy Spirit has not made a condition of salvation. We have no desire to build up any party, sect, division, or denomination, but deplore the very existence of such. It is our earnest desire simply to be considered by God and man as part of the “church of Christ” in the fullest sense of the term.
