Join Our Team at Grace Bible Church in Elmhurst, IL
GBC is seeking a dedicated and organized Office Secretary to support our daily office operations in Elmhurst, IL. This part-time, non-exempt position offers an average of 25 hours per week, with core working hours from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The Office Secretary will report to the Executive Assistant and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of our office environment.
Primary Responsibilities
· Provide administration support to staff and volunteers, including some graphic design work.
· Serve as public contact during office hours: answer phones, doors, and emails; route inquiries; monitor voicemail.
· Create and distribute weekly church-wide emails, service notes, and other communications.
· Monitor, purchase, and restock office supplies.
· Maintain the orderliness of office areas and ensure office equipment is in working order.
Position Details
· Location: Elmhurst, IL 60126
· Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Hours: Average of 25 hours per week
· Employment Type: Part-time, non-exempt
· Reports To: Executive Assistant
· Salary range $18-20 per hour.
