The mission of Naomi’s House is to offer hope and healing to women who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation by providing resources to begin a new life. Clinical Care Specialist/Program Advocate, Reset West Dundee

The Clinical Program Advocate/Care Specialist is a lead clinician for participant services and programming in the Reset program. The Clinical CS is responsible for holding a caseload of participant program oversight in collaboration with the Program Manager and Case Manager for the participants enrolled in the Naomi’s House drop-in services with Reset. The Clinical CS collaborates with the care teams across various NH programs in multi-disciplinary meetings as needed for clients enrolled in services. The Clinical Care Specialist will assist in leading therapeutic, educational, and life skills groups within Reset Program and amongst community partners. A Clinical PCS may hold a case load of individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy and case management. The Clinical CS should exhibit strong relational and communication skills and be prepared to work collaboratively with other Naomi’s House staff and community partners. This position is full-time. The Clinical Care Specialist reports directly to the Reset Program Manager.

Direct Care Services:

• Provides case oversight for participants within Reset programming in collaboration with the Reset Program Manager
• Works with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input on participant care planning that will guide their treatment during services received within Naomi’s House Programming
• Creates treatment plans through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens to guide participant care within Reset
• Implements and reviews program oversight through Response Plans, Action Plans, Turn-it- Around Plans and other NH interventions with participants as needed
• Refers participants to local community resources as needed
• Collaborates as needed with the Reset Care Team to support participant’s treatment withinReset programmingAdministrative Responsibilities:
• Assist with intake interviews and assessments for Reset applicants for review with the Program Manager
• Tracks program measurements and submits to the Program Manager on a quarterly basis
• Maintains confidential client records by completing documentation after each session of therapy, groups and individual client meetings
• Attends individual weekly supervision with the Program Manager and semi-regular group supervision sessions and team meetings with the clinical team of interns when provided
• Communicates effectively to the MDT participant goals, progress and challenges

Program Development

• Works with the PM to ensure high-quality care for survivors enrolled in services
• Utilizes clinical insight to provide feedback on effective measurements within NH programs to track client progress towards goals
• Assists in editing, writing, and creating client-specific forms that will assist clients in care planning
• Assesses therapeutic and support groups provided to ensure groups are in alignment with Naomi's House mission to work with survivors of exploitation
• Develop curriculum to meet client client-centered needs with special populations
• Supervises interns as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and an active member of a church
• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field; exceptions may be made for candidates with extensive experience and understanding of the field.
• A minimum of two years experience in behavioral health and residential care
• Training in one or more of the following areas: Human Trafficking, Addictions, and/or Trauma;Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs of Addiction Counselor (CADC) preferred
• Effective skills working in diverse settings with multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong oral, written communication skills and listening
• Well-developed ability to engage others in building relationships and sustaining momentum
• Proven capacity to maintain patience, tolerance, and tact with diplomacy in high-pressure situations
• High level of integrity and strong ethical values; must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality with all records, including organizational and individual information.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual base salary range: $48,000-$52,000 depending on experience and qualifications
