Bible Baptist Church of Cortland, NY is seeking a Senior Pastor to be our primary leader, preacher and shepherd. The successful candidate will be a passionate follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and servant leader with a strong biblical foundation, a heart for people, a humble dependence on the Holy Spirit, and an eagerness to sustain the ongoing ministries of our church. 

The candidate will meet the biblical qualifications set forth in the New Testament (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:7-9); be in agreement with the Articles of Faith, Constitution and Covenant of this  church. We desire the candidate to be expository in his preaching and teaching; oriented to community outreach, engagement, evangelism and discipleship.

Bible Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church affiliated with the Northeast Fellowship of independent Baptist Churches and the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Our current average attendance on Sunday mornings is approximately 40 people.

Cortland Christian Academy is a ministry of Bible Baptist Church and resides on the church campus. We currently serve approximately 100 students from Pre-K to 12th grade.

Bible Baptist Church is located in Cortland, NY, a city of approximately 20,000 residents. We are located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of Central New York. The Cortland area boasts an abundance of outdoor activities, including skiing, snowboarding, golf, fishing, hunting, hiking, swimming, and boating. We have several beautiful state parks in our area with many gorge trails with breathtaking waterfalls.

Cortland is also home to SUNY Cortland, renowned for it's education and sports management programs. We also have Syracuse University, Cornell University, Ithaca College, SUNY Binghamton and several community colleges all within a 40 mile radius.
