This full-time, in-office role will enable you to create impactful ministry communications, develop valuable skills, and contribute to a life-changing mission. QUALIFICATIONS
- Growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Team player and positive role model with a strong love for God, people, and the local church
- Excellent communicator with clear, precise writing and editing skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Great attention to detail
- Self-motivated and self-directed individual with a strong drive to take initiative
- Skilled in problem-solving and execution
- Experience with design software like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with and willingness to learn AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Membership at The Moody Church, or the willingness to become a member, is preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Articulate the theological and pastoral positions of The Moody Church in verbal and written communication
- Implement a wide range of communications including social media, email campaigns, app notifications, letters, and notecards
- Create and edit compelling content (e.g., videos, images, website content) while maintaining brand standards
- Manage social media channels, create ads, respond to comments and DMs, and implement strategies to increase reach and engagement
- Oversee digital automation and integrations for social media, digital campaigns, and MailChimp (experience with tools like Zapier or Make.com is a plus)
- Proofread various communications, including donor materials, transcripts, books, and blogs
- Stay up-to-date on professional and technical knowledge through personal development
- Execute other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation: Full-time position with an annual salary range of $45,000 - $60,000.
Benefits Package:
· Health Insurance: Comprehensive medical and dental plans with employer contribution.
· Retirement Plan: 403(b) plan with employer discretionary contribution and employer match
· Paid Time Off: 10 vacation days, 11 paid holidays annually, and 1 sick day earned per month with a maximum balance of 30 days

Moody Church Media is a donor-supported ministry of The Moody Church in Chicago, Illinois.
We’ve been sharing the good news of Jesus Christ since 1864. Our founder, D.L. Moody came to Chicago looking to become a businessman and ended up as one of the greatest teachers of God’s Word around the world. His passion was to share the Gospel with every one, everywhere—to the very ends of the Earth—a mantle we carry today.
Moody Church Media was one of the first ministries to start a Christian radio broadcast, an important legacy that we still carry today. We produce four different radio programs that are heard on over 1,200 outlets across the USA and on the major podcast platforms. We have recently begun expanding into international markets and are now heard in four languages across over twenty different countries.
Moody Church Media also houses decades of solid biblical teaching from Pastor Erwin Lutzer and Pastor Warren Wiersbe on our website. Soon we will be adding even more teaching from our new Senior Pastor, Philip Miller.
As we dig through our archives, we’re still finding materials from former pastors in our rich history. As we’re able, we’ll be posting materials from Harry A. Ironside, A.C. Dixon, Alan Redpath and, of course, D.L. Moody (just to name a few).
