Kingdom Church (Twin Falls, ID) – Youth Pastor

The Big Picture

Kingdom Church (https://www.kingdomchurch.life) is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor responsible for leading, discipling, and developing the next generation of believers from middle school through high school. This pastor will provide spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, volunteer development, and strategic oversight of all ministries designed to reach and disciple students. The ideal candidate has a passion for evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and partnering with families to help young people grow into fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. Key Scripture: “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the wonders He has done.” – Psalm 78:4. The Youth Pastor reports to the Executive Pastor.

Job Profile

Full time

Provide Christ-centered leadership and vision for Youth Ministries, modeling a growing relationship with Jesus through personal devotion, integrity, and servant leadership

Teach and uphold the doctrinal beliefs and mission of the church, developing a culture of discipleship, spiritual growth, and biblical literacy

Plan and lead weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, small groups, retreats, and special events – creating engaging, biblically sound teaching that connects with students

Build relationships with students and their families, develop and mentor student leaders, and coordinate outreach designed to reach unchurched students

Recruit, train, equip, and encourage volunteer leaders – building on the current team and developing a leadership pipeline that identifies and mentors future ministry leaders

Ensure all volunteers meet church policies and safety requirements; conduct regular leadership meetings and training

Partner with parents as the primary disciplers of their children – providing resources, communicating regularly, and hosting semi-regular parent-focused events

Create evangelistic opportunities for students and coordinate mission trips, service projects, and community outreach in alignment with existing church ministries

Plan and manage ministry budgets, coordinate calendars and events, track attendance and ministry effectiveness, and work collaboratively with church staff

Participate in managing youth social media platforms, with a good understanding of Apple technology and church media

Participate actively in the life and ministry of the church, attend staff meetings and leadership gatherings, and assist with the maintenance and care of the facility

Qualifications

A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, with spiritual maturity and a lifestyle consistent with the biblical leadership standards of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1

Agreement with the church’s statement of faith and core values, with a passion for reaching and discipling the next generation

Bachelor’s degree in Bible, Ministry, Theology, or a related field preferred; seminary training or equivalent ministry experience preferred

Experience leading youth, young adult, or family ministry, with a proven ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteers

Strong biblical teaching and communication skills; able to connect relationally with students, young adults, and parents

Strong organizational and administrative abilities; team-oriented, self-motivated, and efficient with a flexible schedule

Proficiency with technology, social media, and digital communication tools; sound/media/lights experience preferred

Able to lead worship from guitar or keys preferred

Able and willing to pursue needed skills/endorsement to operate church transportation

Willingness to embrace the church’s existing branding, vision, and mission

Compensation & Benefits

Salary negotiable based on education and experience

10 days of paid time off after one year

Cell phone stipend and mileage stipend
