Wears Valley Ranch is a Christian children's home and school for kids in need of a stronger family support system. Our vision is to see each child inspired to follow Christ, healed from the past, and equipped to reach his or her full potential.
Mentors play a critical role in the development of the children at the Ranch as they assist the Houseparents in running the children's home and discipling the students. It is a life-on-life ministry where you will spend quality time with students, oversee recreation, tutor 1-3 students, attend chapel, and help with making meals. As you participate in the mission of seeing every child reach his or her full potential, you will likewise grow tremendously as you seek to apply God’s Word in a Christ-centered setting.
SERVE: Disciple students ages 6-18, Assist Houseparents, Tutor K-8th Grade.
GROW: Develop leadership abilities, gain ministry experience, and obtain life skills.
INVEST: Deepen your relationship with God, participate in a Christ-centered community, and create lasting memories.
Target Applicant: Unmarried adult in their 20s.
Position Duration: 9-12 Months
Compensation: Room, board, and a monthly stipend of $1,000 are provided.
