Shelby Bible Church (Shelby Township, MI) is seeking Summer Ministry Interns to serve in church Ministry. 

Shelby Bible Church is a biblically based church committed to the exposition of Scripture, Baptistic in theology and polity, and elder-led, deacon-served, and congregationally decided in our governance. 

Shelby Bible Church is experiencing steady growth and is seeking college students or ministry-minded individuals who desire meaningful hands-on ministry experience in a healthy local church. 

Summer interns will serve alongside our ministry leaders and may focus in areas such as Children’s Ministry, Music Ministry, or Pastoral Care, depending on the intern’s interests and gifting. Interns will help support weekly programming, assist with ministry coordination, encourage and serve volunteers, and help facilitate special events and summer activities. Through this experience, interns will receive mentorship, meaningful ministry exposure, and practical opportunities to develop skills in leadership, organization, and discipleship, providing valuable experience that will serve as a strong foundation for future ministry and résumé development. 

Our goal is not simply to fill a role, but to invest in and encourage the next generation of ministry leaders by providing a summer of learning, service, and mentorship within the context of the local church. 

This is a paid summer internship, and housing or room and board may be provided if needed.
