Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the appointment of Senior Pastor of Calvary Bible Church, New Providence, The Bahamas.

Applicants must:

• be born again, fully committed followers of Jesus Christ, who have been baptized by immersion,

• meet the biblical qualifications to hold the office of Pastor as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9; and

• subscribe to, support, and advocate the CBC doctrinal Statement of Faith, and philosophy of ministry as outlined in the church’s constitutional documents.

The Senior Pastor will serve under the supervision of the Elders, and his duties and responsibilities shall be determined by the Elders including:

•  Working at least 40 hours: 8:45am - 4:45pm (5-day work week of which one must be  Sunday).

•  Helping to equip members of the body to become mature in the faith and to "do the work of ministry" through the consistent, consecutive, expositional preaching and teaching of the Word.

• Partnering with elders, deacons, and other leaders in encouraging and equipping members to be active in evangelism.
